The main event at the Cathedral
Le grand spectacle
Summer RéfleXion(s)
8 July to 28 August 2022 around the cathedral (place du Château).
Since its original name of Strossburi (literally meaning ‘town at the crossing of roads’), the City of Strasbourg has stood at an intersection and nurtured this open identity through the centuries. At the crossroads of languages, history and cultures, Strasbourg is a melting pot where anything is possible.
For the occasion of its main summer event, Strasbourg and its multiple influences will intertwine to create a vibrant arts trail through the city centre from 8 July to 28 August 2022.
A series of artworks will be on display from the Cathedral to the Quai des Bateliers. These immersive installations are an opportunity to contemplate as well as participate. They will evolve through summer and come to life at dusk.
By day
Spectators are invited to wander freely around Notre-Dame Cathedral to explore the art works and installations that guide the way. Come and partake in the variety of events and workshops on offer.

- Rosace augmentée (Cathédrale)
- Vibration Forest (Place du Château - 5e Lieu)
- Trajectoire(s) (Cathédrale)
