The History Museum and its staff, together with ‘Strasbourg aime ses étudiant·es’ and student volunteers from the Erasmus Student Network, look forward to welcoming you to an evening at the History Museum!

Programme : 

• Treasure hunt: To mark the start of the new academic year, follow in the footsteps of Marc Bloch and his work verifying historical facts.His mission continues at the History Museum… It’s over to you! Seven fake artefacts are hidden amongst the museum’s genuine exhibits. Take part in the workshops, collect the clues and unmask them all!

Good luck: a surprise awaits you if you rise to the challenge! 🎁

• And workshops led by students throughout the trail:
  1. Medieval tales: at the relief map from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm and from 9.30 pm to 10.00 pm
  Room 1 (ground floor) from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm
  2. Speed portraits with props.
  3. Coat of arms design workshop.
  4. Blind test on national anthems.
  5. Quiz on the Franco-Prussian War.
  6. Jigsaw puzzle workshop featuring the University’s scientific artefacts.
  7. Interactive workshop on Marc Bloch and fake news.
  8. Quiz on Europe / results of the game.
  9. ‘Com’signes’ workshop: Raising awareness of Deaf culture and LSF (French Sign Language).
