Visit the Strasbourg Street Arts Festival!

11, 12 and 13 August, in the streets of Strasbourg and on the city centre squares
Suitable for all – Free

Sponsored by the City of Strasbourg for seven years, the Strasbourg Eurométropole Street Arts Festival (FARSe) draws together the residents of Strasbourg and visitors at the juncture where poetry and the ‘right to the city’ meet.

With the 2023 edition of the FARSe Festival of Street Arts we are inviting you to take a fresh look at your city and its public spaces - a festival packed with surprises and wonderment.

acrobate à vélo - La bande à Tyrex

This year the FARSe's artistic director is Axel Goepfer and the theme is "(S’)inclure" (Inclusion) - in other words it's all about openness, curiosity and getting to know each other with the aim of bringing together a diverse range of audiences over the 3 days of the festival.

The FARSe is a unique event where the spectators are included in the performances. It aims to generate a horizontal dialogue between residents and performers to reveal the multiple, contemporary and intense modes of artistic expression hidden beneath the surface in our city.

Free and open to all, the FARSe invites you to discover and meet some thirty different companies and their performers!

Opening performances on the Friday evening from Quai des Bateliers to Place Kléber, but also a closing show on the Sunday evening where Strasbourgers can come to meet, mingle and share in these collective moments that really have the capacity to bring people together.

Entertainment for all the family

FARse - Spectacle de rue

Children and their families are invited to discover street entertainment and enjoy its rich variety and numerous surprises in a format adapted to a young audience.
These family shows take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings, on playgrounds close to each other. The same performances are repeated in the afternoon to capture a wider audience (families, festival-goers).
