Strasbourg has been awarded the ‘European City of Sport 2025’ label, and invites you to take advantage of the wide range of sporting activities on offer. Whether you're on your own or taking part in events organised by the local authority, there's plenty of opportunity to get active this summer!

Where?

  • Hautepierre Sports Field: Sports Park of Hautepierre
  • Baggersee Sports Field: Baggersee Water Plan
  • Citadelle-Vauban Sports Field: Citadelle Park and behind the Wacken swimming pool

A wide range of free sports, leisure and well-being activities (Olympic and Paralympic sports, canoeing, kayaking, paddle, evening sports tournaments, pétanque, boxing, graffiti, board games, breakdancing, soft activities, equipment loans, adult group classes and family activities, bike repairs, etc.) on the town's 3 Sports Fields:

Plaine sportive Baggersee: Wednesday to Sunday, 2.30pm to 5.45pm.

Plaine sportive Hautepierre - Parc des sports: Wednesday to Saturday, 4.30pm to 9.30pm and Sunday, 10am to 9.30pm.

Plaine sportive Citadelle - Vauban: Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 2pm to 5pm, Friday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm.

On the programme: ‘Special Kids’ activities, 100% teens, Fit and Zen, sports tournaments and lots of other surprises to discover.

New for 2025: the orientation course

Looking for a fun adventure? Come and discover our orienteering course at the Baggersee sports field! This fun and sporting activity for all ages will challenge your sense of direction. Explore the countryside and find the clues without getting lost. 

Vitaboucle

Explore the Vitaboucle routes along the banks of the River Ill, in city parks or on little-known paths. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll or doing some sport, in the countryside or in the city, you'll find everything you need to get moving at your own pace in a pleasant setting: fitness equipment, heritage sites, shady spots... all along the way.

On Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August, come and discover the wealth and diversity of sports offered by clubs in Strasbourg! Try your hand at the following activities over the weekend: martial arts, dance, gymnastics, climbing and many other sports disciplines... You're sure to find the sport that will keep you moving all year round!
