This summer season will be marked by Strasbourg as the UNESCO World Book Capital 2024. The heart of this event will be the “Pages Blanches” installation at Place du Château, offering countless opportunities to read, dream, observe the cathedral and surrounding heritage from a new perspective, and participate in workshops, readings, performances, and festive evenings.
The City of Strasbourg will also embrace the Olympic spirit, welcoming the Olympic and Paralympic flames on June 26 and August 25 with an exciting festive and sports program!
The eagerly awaited outdoor festivals and events will return, including the illumination of the Cathedral, Docks Malraux, FARSe, sports fields, music at the kiosk, open-air cinema, the Arachnima tour, guided tours, Alsatian dances and music, and museum exhibitions. This year, the activities and events offered in different neighborhoods will reach unprecedented scale!
